Newark Man Indicted On Crack Cocaine Sales
NEWARK -- A Newark man was indicted on charges of selling a large amount of crack cocaine at his girlfriend's house.
Abram J. Noble, 26, last known address 457 Henderson Ave., sold 10.8 grams of crack cocaine to a confidential informant with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force on Oct. 1, Licking County Assistant Prosecutor Duke Frost said.
The drugs were sold at Catrina J. Sherman's Henderson Avenue residence near McGuffey Elementary School, Frost said.
Task force officers found crack cocaine, marijuana, scales, a pipe and more than $800 in drug proceeds at the home, according to their indictments.
Noble was charged with one count each of trafficking in crack cocaine, a first-degree felony; possession of crack cocaine, a fourth-degree felony with a forfeiture specification; possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.
Sherman, 21, was charged with one count each of possession of crack cocaine, a fourth-degree felony; permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
